We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Release Management Project Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire release lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to cutover and post-deployment support.

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in release management.
• Strong understanding of release management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and facilitate meetings with development, testing, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain release plans and timelines, including detailed task breakdowns and dependencies.
• Schedule cutover dates and coordinate cutover activities with all involved teams.
• Create and submit change requests for infrastructure and application changes.
• Collaborate with architects to identify and resolve any migration plan roadblocks.
• Obtain necessary approvals from security, business, and IT owners.
• Manage release documentation and update tracking systems with accurate information.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and address any issues that arise.
