Job Description
- Must have worked on database migration projects.
- Experience in migrating databases to AWS environment.
- Experience and working knowledge of migrating MySQL to Aurora projects.
Experience in AWS native platforms such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc. - Experience in AWS Migration Tools like DMS etc.
- Experience in providing migration approach, plan, and best practices.
- Experience in building databases with high availability(HA) in AWS
- Experience in building DB backups and disaster recovery of the database with data integrity and security.
- Experience in performance management, tuning of the databases to remove bottlenecks and ensuring availability.
- Provide support to application team while testing the databases.
- Work with DevOps team to build and deploy the DB scripts in various environment.
- Build database test cases to support the application team while testing the application.
- General database management activities like monitoring, procedures to purge, etc.
